Changing The Username Zoom Uses When Nobody is Logged Into the Zoom Client

To change the user name that is displayed when nobody is logged into the Zoom App, follow the instructions below:

1. Log Out of Zoom

   From Mac or Windows

• Click your profile picture (or your initials) in the top-right corner.
• Click Sign Out.
  

• From an iPad/iPhone/Android Tablet

• Tap Settings.
  
• Tap your name.
  
• Tap Sign Out, then tap Yes to confirm.

2. Re-open Zoom and click Join Meeting

3. Enter 408 726 3630 in the Meeting ID field

4. Enter your child's first name and the first letter of their last name and click Remember my name for future meetings
    This name will stick when nobody is logged on to the Zoom application.  If you log into Zoom, your Zoom account name will show
    and this will revert back to the name you entered in step 4 when you log out again.

5. Click Join

6. When you see the Waiting Room or waiting for host message, you can close this window to exit and leave the meeting.
