Internet Access During Covid-19 for Students and Teachers

For households with limited or no Internet access during Remote Working & Learning due to Covid-19, the following companies are providing assistance:

Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable)

• We'll open our WiFi hotspots across our footprint for public use.
• We'll continue to offer Spectrum Internet Assist, our high-speed broadband program to eligible low-income households.

• We'll offer new free access to internet and WiFi for 60 days for new Pre-K to 12, college student and teacher households who don't currently have internet or WiFi service.

Optimum (Altice)

• Free access to WiFi hotspots
• Optimum is offering Altice Advantage Internet free for 60 days, where available, to any household in our service area that has a student in K-12 and/or college. This special Optimum service is for students who are displaced due to school closures and who don’t have Internet access at home.After your first 60 free days of Internet service expires, those affected can either cancel the service or keep it as a regular paying Altice Advantage Internet customer at the low rate of only $14.99 per month, with no annual contract and free equipment.Call 866.200.9522 to sign up today, or visit AlticeAdvantageInternet.com to learn more.
