Publishing a Recorded Lesson to the Web

Publishing a lesson that you created using ExplainEverything or another video/screen capture tool is really simple...

ZOOM Meetings or other recordings should NOT be published online if a student's image or name is visible!

  1. Once you have finished recording your video, make sure that you know where it is located (usually in your downloads folder)
If you need a tool to record your screen or video, try using Screencastify.
  2. Log into http://studio.youtube.com
  3. Click on the Upload Video button
  4. Click on the SELECT FILE or drag the video file into the screen
  5. Once the Video Details screen appears, you should make the following changes:
    • Modify the Title or Description if desired
    • Under the Audience section, you should mark "Yes, it's made for kids"
  6. Click Next
  7. On the Video Elements screen, simply click Next
  8. On the Visibility screen, mark the video as Unlisted
  9. Click on the Copy icon to copy the URL for the published video
  10. Click Save
  11. Please refer to your program head for the video sharing protocol.
