Using the GoTo Connect iPhone/Android or Mac/PC App to Make/Receive Calls from your Office Phone
Our telephone system allows users to connect their office phones with their mobile phones to make and receive calls. To begin, the user will need to take the following steps:
Requesting Access to JiveMobile
For security reasons, GoTo Mobile is not automatically enabled on staff accounts, to request GoTo Mobile be enabled, email [email protected] requesting that GoTo Mobile be enabled for your phone.
Creating Your Profile
Create a GoTo Profile by visiting http://onjive.com/register Enter your details including your @bhmsny.org email address, please also choose a password (it SHOULD NOT be the same as your Google or Computer password)
Click Register
When the confirmation screen appears, close the window
Setting Up the App
Once the has downloaded and installed on your phone, follow the directions below to configure the App.
Open the app and click Sign In
Enter your BHMS email address and click next
Instead of entering your password, click the Google Sign-in button under More Options
Choose your BHMS Google account and enter your BHMS Google password if prompted
Next, you will be prompted to give the Jive permission to access features on your phone/computer. Answer in the following ways:
Microphone -> Allow Access
Contacts -> Do Not Allow
Run In Background -> Allow (if prompted)
Allow Notifications -> Allow
